The submissions periods for the Global Awards for Excellence and Urban Open Space Award come to an end today, but the Larson and Kemp Housing awards have begun. Attached is a photo of New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan and others at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Via Verde, which won a Kemp award in 2012. Each year, the Terwilliger Center for Housing recognizes exemplary achievements in workforce housing by the development community and public policy makers in the United States. Do you know of a development or initiative that meets workforce housing needs? Apply today for the Jack Kemp Workforce Housing Models of Excellence Awards or the Robert C. Larson Workforce Housing Public Policy Awards. Submissions are due by May 10, 2013.
