RFP for Comprehensive Plan Update / Unified Development Ordinance for Albuquerque, NM

The City of Albuquerque requests proposals from qualified consulting teams to assist with targeted updates to the Albuquerque-Bernalillo County Comprehensive Plan and with reshaping the City’s regulatory and policy framework governing land development into a new Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). The UDO will consolidate multiple documents and update policies, standards, and regulations to incorporate best practices for land use and transportation planning and land development. More detailed information can be found here:  https://www.cabq.gov/council/projects/current-projects/comprehensive-plan-update-unified-development-ordinance

In this first of a two-stage selection process, 3-5 qualified consultant teams may be selected to continue to the second selection stage. Selected teams will be eligible for a $10,000 stipend for submitting (1) a “white paper” analysis of existing policies and regulations and (2) a proposal to update the Comprehensive Plan and create a UDO, including work plan, timeline, public involvement process, and proposed budget by November 6, 2014, the deadline for the second selection stage.

The City of Albuquerque Purchasing Division is the sole contact during the solicitation process.  Sealed electronic proposals must be submitted by the designated times and dates.
